REMOVING AND INSTALLING REAR CALIPER
Remove and install rear wheel - 36 10 300.
Draw brake fluid out of tank with a siphoning
device which is reserved exclusively for this
purpose.
Installation: Bleed brakes - 34 00 046.

Detach pad wear indicator plug on right
caliper only. Unscrew mounting bolts.
Installation: Tighten to specified torque¹).

Detach brake line.
Installation: Tighten to specified torque¹).
Caliper´s bleeder valve faces up.

REMOVING AND INSTALLING
REAR BRAKE CALIPER
Remove and install rear wheel.
Draw off brake fluid with a syrings, which is
used exclusively with brake fluids.
Disconnect brake line.

Unscrew bolts (1).
Disconnect plug for brake pad wear indicator.
Pull off floating caliper from behind.
Installation:
Tightening torque*).
