Vehicles before change point in 1982
BLEEDING BRAKES
Brake fluid¹) must be replaced every year.
Brake fluid is hygroscopic and consequently
will absorb moisture from the atmosphere
through vent hole in brake fluid tank. This
reduces boiling point of brake fluid to 160 ...
180°C (320 ... 355°F).
Important: Be careful not to spill brake fluid
on any painted surface. Brake fluid would
destroy paint.
Connect bleeder to brake fluid tank.
Important: Keep filling pressure below 2 bar
(30 psi).

fluid is without air bubbles.
Important: Bleed system at all three bleeder
screws A, B and C, since otherwise air bubbles
could remain trapped in the caliper.
Always bleed both lower pistons in sequence
of B - C.

BLEEDING BRAKES
Brake fluid*) must be replaced annually.
Brake fluid is hygroscopic and consequently
takes on moisture in the air through vent holw
in brake fluid tank.
This could drop brake fluid boilling point form
+ 240°C (464°F) to + 160 ... 180°C (320 ...
356°F).
Caution!
Keep brake fluid off of painted car parts -
paint finish would be damaged.
Connect bleeder on brake fluid tank.
Check operating instructions supplied with
bleeder.
Charging pressure must not exceed 2 bar
(28 psi).
