REPLACING FRONT DOOR LOCK SWITCH
Remove and install front door trim panel -
51 41 000.
Pull off Acella sheet as required.
Remove plugs from clips and disconnect.
Installation: Note lock for central electric
plugs. Install plugs in clips with insulating
tape.

Detach linkage.
Unsrew nuts (1 ... 3) and take off switch
for door lock.

When installing door lock switch make sure
that impact switch is on.

Note: Impact switch will automatically
unlock everything when car is involved in
a collision.
The system can be reset by pressing down
a safety button, accessible after opening
glove box, and firmly pressing down on
catch button (2) of driver´s door.

Polarity of Switch for Passenger´s Door and
Trunk Lid Lock:
1 = CLOSED
2 = OPEN
3 = Wire color
bl = blue
ws = white
br = brown

REPLACING SWITCH (DRIVE)
FOR LOCK OF LEFT OR
RIGHT FRONT DOOR
Remove door trim panel - see 51 41 000.
Unscrew screws.
Pull off plug, disconnect and remove drive.

Installation:
1. Lock in LOCKED position.
2. Locking linkage in LOCKED position.
3, Attach drive in connecting linkage and hold
with a screw (screw is not tightened).
4. Screw in a second screw.
Compress drive (position A), pull down
slightly (linkage clearance) and tighten
screw with 2 Nm (1.5 ft.lbs.) torque.
5. Tighten the screw installed first.
