Unscrew screws (1 ... 2). Detach holder on one side and remove switch. Installation: Make sure that operating rod (3) for central locking system is located in guide provided for this purpose. | |
When installing a trunk lid lock switch, make sure that impact switch (1) is turned on. | |
Note: If car is involved in a collision, impact switch automatically unlocks all locks. System is reset by pressing down on safety button of impact switch (accessible after opening glove box) and also pressing down catch button (2) of driver´s door. | |

Disconnect linkage. Unscrew screws (1). Unscrew drive (2). Installation: Check codes of drives - see 51 26 000. 51 26 000 | |
Installation: 1. Turn lock to LOCKED position. 2. Attach drive in connecting linkage and hold with a screw (screw is not tightened). 3. Tighten screws (1). 4. Screw in a second screw. Compress drive (position A), pull down slightly (linkage clearance) and tighten screw with 2 Nm (1.5 ft.lbs.) torque. 5. Tighten the screw installed first. |
