Vehicles before change point in 1982
REMOVING AND INSTALLING CENTERING SHELL
FOR REAR SPRING STRUT ABSORBER
Remove and install rear spring strut assembly -
33 52 100.
Compress coil spring with Special Tool 31 3 111.
Unscrew nuts and take off joint plate.
Installation: Torque values¹).

Release coil spring.
Detach centering shell from coil spring.
Installation: Check rubber mount, replacing
if necessary.
