REPLACING OUTPUT SHAFT
- Output Shaft Removed -
Remove input shaft (1), needle cage (2), circlip
(3), support (4), synchromesh ring (5), synchronizer
with operating sleeve (6), synchromesh
ring (7), needle cage (8) and 3rd gear (9).
Important: Mark synchromesh rings and
pertinent gears.

Press 2nd gear (10), needle cage (11), synchromesh
ring (12), synchronizer with operating
sleeve (13), synchromesh ring (14), 1st gear (15),
needle cage (16), spacer (17), reverse gear (18),
thrust ring (19), grooved ball bearing (20) and
spacer (21) off of output shaft (22).
Important: Mark synchromseh rings for
pertinent gears.
Stepped end of operating sleeve (13) faces 1st gear.
Non-conformance could cause loud noise or
jumping of gears.
Installation: Check synchronization 23 23 503.
