REPLACING TANK FLAP LOCK SWITCH Lift out side trim panel. Remove central plug from holder and disconnect. Loosen screws and take off switch. Installation: Note lock. Install plug in clamp. |  |
Installation: Install linkage from switch in guide provided for this. If central locking system fails, tank flap can be opened by pushing back linkage (1). |  |
When installing switch for tank flap lock, make sure that impact switch (1) is turned on. |  |
Note: If car is involved in a collision, impact switch automatically unlocks all locks. System is reset by pressing down on safety button of impact switch (accessible after opening glove box) and also pressing down catch button (2) of driver´s door. |  |
