REMOVING AND INSTALLING OR REPLACING
FRONT SIDE PANEL
Read "Introduction"!
Remove bumper with lower section of front
panel, grill with turn signals and entrance
rail strips.
Remove firewall panel.

Unscrew metal screws.

Unscrew metal screws on inside of side
panel.

Unscrew metal screw on entrance.

Unscrew metal screws on side panel/front
wheelhouse.

Installation: Use Terostat tape.
Replace front seal.

Installation: Align side panel before
tightening metal screws and make sure that
door gap (A) is even.
Align engine hood - 41 61 014.

If necessary tin side panel/front panel
joint.

REMOVING AND INSTALLING
OR REPLACING FRONT SIDE
PANEL
Remove bumper with front panel lower section,
grill with turn signal and entrance rubbing strip.
Detach ornamental strip on rain molding
partially.
Remove stone guard.

Unscrew hook.
Bolt is accessible from underneath.

Unscrew metal screws.

Unscrew metal screws on inside of side panel.

Unscrew metal screw on entrance.

Unscrew metal screws on front side panel/wheel
house.

Carefully heat or cut off bearing surfaces covered
with sealing tape on A pillar, on wheel house and
on front stone guard before lifting off the side
panel.

Installation:
Apply coat of body sealing compound or paste
on sealing tape*.
Replace front seal.

Installation:
Align side panel and make sure door gap (A) is
uniform before tightening the metal screws.
Align engine hood 41 61 014.

If necessary, tin joint between side panel and
front panel.
