Read "Introduction"!
Remove front seat with height adjuster, inner
strip, rubber seal, rear seat, rear side trim as
req., striker, entrance panel, door pillar panel,
door pillar trim as req., carper as req., and
entrance rail strip.

Cut through cover along line.

Remove scrap metal.

Align mating surfaces, grind bright on both
sides and coat with powdered zinc paint.

Grind mating surfaces of new cover bright on
both sides.

Make up reinforcement plates for front
connection and spot weld.

Make up reinforcement plates for rear
connection and spot weld.

Align cover and tack weld.

Weld cover with shielded arc welder.

Spot weld cover.

Grind down welding seams and tin joints.

Spray cover with Bodyplast.

Remove front seat with height control, inner
ornamental strip, rubber seal, rear seat, rear
side panel trim partially, striker, plate on
entrance, plate on door pillar, door pillar
trim partially, carpet partially and strip on
entrance.

Cut off cover along line.

Remove scrap metal.

Straighten and grind both sides of mating
surfaces, and coat with zinc dust paint.

Grind both sides of mating surfaces on new
cover.

Make up and spot weld reinforcements for
front connection.

Make up and spot weld reinforcements for
rear connection.

Fit in and tack weld cover.

Inert gas weld cover.

Spot weld cover.

Grind down welding seams and tin out
connections.

Spray anti-drumming compound on cover.
