Vehicles before change point in 1982
CHECKING BOTH REAR BRAKE DISCS FOR
RUNOUT AND DIFFERENCE IN THICKNESS
Remove and install rear brake pads - 34 21 200.
Secure brake disc additionally.
Mount Special Tool 34 1 250 and check lateral
runout¹) of brake disc with dial gage.

Detach caliper.
Take brake line out of clamp.
Brake line remains connected.
Installation: Tighten to specified torque¹).

Measure difference in thickness¹) at about
8 points within braking surface with a
micrometer.
