MEASURING TRAILING ARM
- Trailing Arm Removed -
Remove brake disc 34 21 300.
Remove rear axle shaft, see 33 41 100.
Remove wheel bearings, see 33 41 601.
Pull out both silent blocks, see 33 32 561.
Unscrew nuts on parking brake cable support.

Mount
trailing arm on bracket 33 3 002
on base 33 3 001
with dowels 33 3 007
and 33 3 008
in conjunction with
threaded spindle 33 3 004
on the bearing housing.

Swing trailing arm to correct position and push
in dowel pins 33 3 005.
It should be possible to turn the dowel pins by
hand.

If dowel pins can´t be turned by hand, the
trailing arm is distorted and must be replaced.
