Remove cotter pin and unscrew castle nut. Press center tie rod off of steering drop arm with Special Tool 32 2 070. Installation: Tightening torque¹). Lock castle nut with cotter pin. ¹) See Specifications | |
Turn front wheels to right lock. Remove cotter pin and unscrew castle nut. Press center tie rod off of steering guide arm with Special Tool 32 2 070. Installation: Tightening torque¹). Lock castle nut with cotter pin. ¹) See Specifications | |
Installed length of center tie rod: A = 488 ± 1 mm (19.212 ± 0.040´´). | |
