Vehicles before change point in 1982
REMOVING AND INSTALLING PARKING LOCK PAWL
Remove valve body 24 30 00.
Remove transmission cover 24 11 050.
Remove retainer (1).
Take off washer (2).
Disconnect spring (3) and pull off parking lock
cam (4).

Disconnect spring (5) and press out pin (6) from
inside to outside, or pull out.

Installation: Press in pin and at same time slide
spring (5) with pawl (7) on pin.
Straight end of spring faces up on transmission
case.
Front spring end is behind pawl on left-hand
side.

Connect front end of spring to right side of
pawl.

REMOVING AND INSTALLING
PARKING LOCK PAWL
Remove valve body 24 30 000.
Detach transmission cover 24 11 050.
Lift out circlip (1).
Remove washer (2).
Disconnect spring (3).
Pull off parking lock cam (4).

Disconnect spring (5) and press or pull out
pin (6) from inside to outside.

Installation:
Push in pin, while sliding spring (5) with pawl
(7) on to pin.
Straight end of spring faces up on transmission
case.
Front spring end is behind pawl at left.

Connect front spring end on right pawl side.
