REMOVING AND INSTALLING RADIATOR EXPANSION TANK
Drain some of coolant.
Detach hose (1) and overflow hose (2) as well as
elbow (3) at expansion tank.
Disconnect wire at level switch (4).
Installation: Fill and bleed cooling system

Pull relay (5) with plug out of holder and lay to
one side.
Unscrew nuts.
Press off valve holder far enough until staybolt
is clear.

Unscrew bolt (6) and remove expansion tank.

COOLANT EXPANSION TANK
Unscrew cap on expansion tank.
Disconnect hose (1) and drain coolant partially.
Unscrew bolt (2).
Installation:
Add coolant** and bleed cooling system 17 00 039.

Disconnect hoses (3 and 4).
Pull off plug (5).
Remove bolt (6) and take off expansion tank.
