BLEEDING COOLING SYSTEM Turn rotary control to "warm". Loosen bleeder screw at operating temperature. Let engine run at high idle speed until coolant running out is without air bubbles. Add water to expansion tank continuously during bleeding procedures.

Loosen bleeder screw and tighten again when escaping coolant is without air bubbles. Keep expansion tank full while bleeding. See Service Information of Group 00 for coolant specifications.
Mark on expansion tank shows the full level for cold coolant (approx. 20° C/68° F). BMW M 635 CSi: The cooling system of this model is bled automatically.
