REMOVING AND INSTALLING AIR FLOW SENSOR
Disconnect multiple plug (1).
Loosen clamp (2).
Unscrew nuts (3 and 4).
Remove air flow sensor with air filter.

Detach air flow sensor at air filter.

The fuel/air ratio (CO % by vol.) at idle speed
can be corrected with bypass control screw (7).
The damping volume in damping chamber (5)
and the gap of compensation valve (4) influence
the transition behavior of the engine.

REMOVING AND INSTALLING AIR FLOW SENSOR
Remove and install air cleaner 13 71 000.
Take air flow sensor off of air cleaner.

Unscrew silent mounts (1 --- 3) on air flow
sensor.
Check silent mounts, replacing if necessary.

Installation:
Check code number (1)* and manufacturing
date (2)*.
Check engine idle speed* and idle speed CO*.
Check air flow sensor*.
