Unscrew threaded ring with Special Tool 51 2 060 and remove sleeve. Remove trunk lid lock. |  |
Installation: Lock operating lever must face to the right. |  |
The key number can be seen on a removed lock. For example: HB 1070. |  |
Installation sequence: 1 = Lock cylinder 2 = Seal 3 = Sleeve 4 = Threaded ring |  |
From 1978 Models: Loosen screws and remove trunk lid catch. |  |
Installation: Make sure that rubber seal (1) fits correctly. |  |
Key number can be read on a removed lock, e.g. HB 1791. |  |
Vehicles after change point in 1982 RREMOVING AND INSTALLING TRUNK LID LOCK Lift out trim clips. Fold trim forward. |  |
Disconnect operating rod on drive motor. Unscrew screws and remove trunk lid lock. | |
Installation: Make sure rubber seal (1) fits correctly. | |
