Requirements: Engine at operating temperature. Stop engine and press down on accelerator pedal against full throttle stop (past full throttle stop for cars with automatic transmission). Operating lever (1) must now rest on stop (2). Correct by turning ball socket on push rod. | |
Cars with Automatic Transmission: Check adjustment of transmission cable. The seal pressed on cable must have distance (A) = 0.25 to 0.75 mm (0.010 to 0.030´´) from cable stop in neutral. | |
Check, whether with pedal floored (pressed down past full throttle stop) transmission cable is pulled out by at least distance A = 45 mm (1.772´´). Correct with adjusting screw, if necessary. | |
LAYOUT ASSEMBLY DRAWING OF ACCELERATOR PEDAL Installation: Adjust push rod. Check full throttle stop screw (1), correcting to distance C¹) if necessary. Adjusting Accelerator Linkage: Adjust length of pull rod (2) to L = 430 mm (16.929´´). Adjust push rod (3) by turning ball socket. ¹) See Specifications |
