REMOVING AND INSTALLING
OR REPLACINGS SRS UNIT
Caution!
Conform with safety regulations!
Improper handling could cause unwanted
activation of SRS and in turn lead to injury!
Disconnect battery and cover negative pole
or terminal.

Lift cap out of lower steering column casing
section and disconnect plug.

Unscrew four screws with Special Tool
00 2 110.
Installation:
Tightening torque*.


* See Specifications

Pull off plug and remove SRS unit.
Caution!
Only lay the SRS unit aside (in trunk) with
the impact pad facing up.
Installation:
Be careful not to pinch wires.
