Vehicles before change point in 1982
DISASSEMBLING/ASSEMBLING CENTRIFUGAL GOVERNOR
- Centrifugal Governor Removed -
Detach cover (1) at housing (2).
Lift off circlip (3) and remove washer (4).
Remove governor piston (5), spring (6) and
governor bushing (7).
Installation: Governor piston must slide into
governor bushing without restriction.
Replace circlip (3).

- GOVERNOR REMOVED -
Detach cover (1) on case (2).
Lift off circlip (3) and remove washer (4).
Remove governor piston (5), spring (6) and
governor bush (7).
Installation:
Governor piston must slide easily in governor
bush.
Replace circlip (3).
