B) BMW 633 i: Install pressure meter 13 3 061 or 10 bar (142 psi) pressure tester from BMW service test unit between cold starting valve and fuel line. Detach vacuum hose (1) from pressure regulator. Start engine. Fuel pressure 2.5 ± 0.2 bar (35 ± 3 psi). When attaching vacuum hose (1), pressure must drop to approx. 2 bar (28 psi). Pressure should rise briefly when operating throttle. | |
Vehicles after change point in 1982 CHECKING FUEL DELIVERY PRESSURE Install pressure tester 13 3 060 with connecting line and t-adapter 13 3 064 in fuel feed line in front of the fuel pressure regulator. Plug fuel return line with Special Tool 13 3 010. | |
Pull off fuel pump relay (1). Bridge terminals 87 and 30 with Special Tool 61 3 050. Check delivery pressure*. * See Specifications of Gr. 16 |
