REPLACING IGNITION COIL Important: Stop engine and turn off ignition prior to performing any work on a transistor ignition system. DANGER! Check ignition coil 11 00 009. Pull off wires. Detach ignition coil from holder. Installation: Black/red wire to term. 15 = M 6 threads Black wire to term. 1 = M 5 threads Important: Don´t mix up coils for ignition systems with points and those for (breakerless) transistor ignition systems. Bosch No. 0 221 119 017 (with points) Bosch No. 0 221 122 010 (breakerless) If mixed up, points could burn out quickly and cause failure and cold starting difficulties. * See Specifications | |

Pull off protective cap and ignition lead (term. 4). Unscrew connections (term. 1 and 15). Unscrew holder and take off ignition coil. | |
