Remove fan housing. Slacken drive belts by loosening alternator, power steering pump and compressor. Installation: Tighten drive belts - standard belts should give under thumb pressure applied midway between two pulleys by 5 to 10 mm (0.197 to 0.394´´) and open flank belts by 2 to 3 mm (0.080 to 0.120´´). Pull off vibration damper with hub. Important: Watch correct location of key (1). Remove radial oil seal. Installation: If hub has serious scoring, install seal that its sealing lip is in front of or behind scored groove. | |
Lubricate sealing lip of radial seal with oil. Press in radial oil seal with Special Tools 11 1 273 and 11 1 272. | |

Lubricate sealing lip of radial oil seal with oil. Press in radial oil seal with Special Tools 11 1 273 and 11 1 272. |
