CAVITY SEALING AND UNDERCOATING
Treat entire car.
Refer to preparation instructions!
Protect wheels with covers¹).
A) Cavity Sealing:
Insert spray tube fitted with pertinent nozzle
in cavity as far as possible (in all directions).
Star spray action and pull out spray tube slowly
and uniformly to guarantee a full and uniform coat.
Spray Nozzles Required:
RS = Round stream slotted nozzle
F = Flat stream nozzle

Front cross member.

Engine carrier

Engine carrier at left and right from engine compartment.

Left and right front wheel house brace.
Remove plug and insert plug in hole again after
application of sealing compound.

Front side panel at splash wall left and right.

Drill hole in side member at center.
D = 10 mm (0.394´´).
Note: Dip drill bit in sealing compound to catch
burrs from drilling.
After application of sealing compound insert a
plug dipped in sealing compound in hole.

Drill holes in left and right doors between inside
of door and rubber seal.
D = 10 mm (0.394´´)
A = 210 mm (8.268´´)
B = 150 mm (5.905´´)

Left and right rear spring strut mounts.
Remove plugs and plug holes again after application
of sealing compound.

Side and cross members underneath trunk.

Left and right A pillars.
Remove door contact switches (1) and, if applicable,
speakers.

Left and right rear side panels and wheel houses.
Take off rubbing strips.

Left and right front spring strut mounts.

Cowl panel at left and right.

Left and right side panels through radiator grill.

Left and right side panels and wheel houses.
Take off side trim panels.

Engine hood braces through openings provided.

Trunk lid braces through openings provided.
Detach trunk lid trim on both sides as required.
