REMOVING AND INSTALLING
OR REPLACING SRS
DIAGNOSIS UNIT
Caution!
Conform with safety regulations!
Inproper handling could cause unwanted
activation of SRS and in turn lead to injury!
Disconnect battery and cover negative pole
or terminal.

Open glove box.
Slide out pins (1) in both straps.

Unscrew trim panel.
Pull off plug on light.

Remove DME control unit.
Disconnect plugs on diagnosis unit.
Unscrew ground wire.
Unscrew diagnosis unti with carrier (3 screws).
