ADJUSTING STEEL SUN ROOF
Description:
The steel sun roof functions as a sliding roof A)
and as a lifting roof B).
Switching to lift is only possible when roof is
closed.
In the case of an electric sun roof a microswitch
will perform this with the switch in "close"
position.
Manual operation will require passing a certain
pressure point.
 
Open sun roof lid about 5 cm (2´´).
Press off roof liner frame at front.
Close sun roof and push back roof liner frame
all the way.
Installation: Close sun roof. Pull roof lining
frame forward uniformly.
Open sun roof lid slightly, holding roof liner
frame tight by hand.
Press in clips for roof liner frame at front.

Front Height Adjustment:
Ideal setting of sun roof lid: 1 mm (0.040´´)
lower than surface of roof outer panel.
Loosen screws (1) and make adjustment with
height control screw (2).
Tighten screws (1), pressing in at same time.

Rear Height Adjustment:
Ideal setting of sun roof lid: 1 mm (0.040´´)
higher than surface of roof outer panel.
Loosen screws on gate holder.
Now adjust lid in slots and then tighten screws
again.

Lift Position:
In lift position the lid must touch the front of
the roof opening.
Correct by adjusting the guidepins.

ADJUSTING SUN ROOF
Description:

Open sun roof lid about 5 cm (2").
Press off front roof liner frame.
Close sun roof and push back roof liner frame completely.
Installation:
Close sun roof.
Pull roof liner frame forward uniformly.
Open sun roof lid slightly, holding roof liner frame by hand.
Press in holding clamps for front roof liner frame.

Front Height Adjustment:
Ideal setting = sun roof lid 1 mm (0.040") deeper than roof panel.
Unscrew bolts (1) and adjust with height control screw (2).
Tighten bolts (1) again, pushing in on roof.

Rear Height Adjustment:
Ideal setting = sun roof lid 1 mm (0.040") higher than roof panel.
Unscrew bolts on gate holder.
Lid can then be adjusted in slot (1).
Tighten bolts again.

Basic "Lift" Setting:
Center left and right guide pins (1) in slots.
Deflector (2).
Guide pin (1).
Distance A = 2 mm (.080").
