REMOVING AND INSTALLING ENGINE HOOD CATCH CABLE
Detach and attach instrument panel trim at
bottom left - 51 45 180.
Unscrew left and right screws (1 and 2).
Unscrew front screws and remove heater
blower cover.

Loosen left and right screws.

Press off lock and remove base with lever.
Detach and pull out cable.
Installation: Adjust engine hood catch -

REMOVING AND INSTALLING
ENGINE HOOD RELEASE CABLE
Remove and install instrument panel trim at
bottom left 51 45 180.
Unscrew left and right bolts (1 ... 2).
Unscrew front bolts and remove cover for heater
blower.

Loosen left and right bolts.

Press off retainer and remove base with lever.
Disconnect and pull out cable.
Installation:
Adjust engine hood release 51 23 004.
